On 28 May 2026, a few days before the start of the 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the M24 opened its doors to the public on the edge of the circuit.
Five years earlier, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and Richard Mille had entrusted us with the creation of this venue. The brief could be summed up in a single sentence: the most beautiful motoring museum in the world. We sought to turn it into a spectacle, in the literal sense.
The question remained: what, within a collection, can serve as a spectacle? A stationary racing car says nothing. What brings it to life is speed, noise, the night, and the exhaustion of the men who drive it. The M24 therefore does not simply exhibit cars; it tells the story of the race. Visitors are set in motion once more, and the cars with them.
From this emerged a two-part narrative. First, the epic story of the 24 Hours and endurance racing, the backbone of the visit. Then the other major disciplines of motorsport: Formula 1, rallying, IndyCar, motorcycling and Can-Am. No museum in the world had yet brought them all together in a single place.
To see this project through from start to finish, we had to oversee the entire undertaking: the narrative, the brand, the site’s positioning, the design of the visitor route, the scenography, the shop, and the management of the works – from electrical circuits to the sets and audiovisual equipment.
All this had to be achieved within a schedule that left no room for manoeuvre, as the opening date had been set from the outset. One year of closure, twelve months of construction work, nearly a hundred contractors on site. No leeway in the schedule, no compromises on the scenographic standards.
On 28 May 2026, M24 was inaugurated and has since attracted nearly 150,000 visitors in just 50 days, with a satisfaction rating of 96.4 out of 100. The promise has been fulfilled for visitors.
Bolstered by the trust placed in us by Pierre Fillon and the ACO, as well as by Richard Mille, five years of dedication from our teams and the expertise of all the companies involved in the project, we are proud of what we have built together.
